The focus of our workshops and keynote addresses is on inspiration and visionary thinking, often including some kind of music, poetry, storytelling or improvisational theater to actively engage participants. We try to build on the limited time available in short workshop sessions to support a larger, ongoing focus on professional development. In our full-day seminars, we offer glimpses into the exciting possibilities for further study of the topic at hand. We always include activities that invite participants to reflect on their current thinking and experiences and ask them to engage with group discussions, stories, and using props to think through ideas and understandings. While one-day seminars offer participants inspiration and challenge, they do not allow for the deeper learning or significant transformation that longer sessions and Reflective Practices Institutes provide. Margie and Deb are currently prioritizing their scheduling to Reflective Practices Institutes and consulting work.
