Our trip to New Zealand/Aotearoa and Australia
In early 2008, we had the pleasure of working with colleagues in New Zealand and Australia. We are inspired by the commitment to early childhood that these countries have and encourage U.S. educators to seek out opportunities to learn from them. The photos on this page highlight our work and travels there.

Palmerston North, New Zealand

Mana Tamariki (the nest) is a full-emersion Maori language and cultural center.

HARVEST RESOURCES provides speakers, training, consultation, and resources for early childhood education (ECE). In all our work, we integrate culturally relevant and anti-bias principles, child-centered practices, and inspiration from the schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy. We connect the values we hold for children and their learning environments with the organizational climate and working conditions of their teachers and caregivers.
